About
If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough - Robert Capa.
If I have a camera in my hands, I’m happy.
Ever since my first job in television, over 15 years ago, I’ve had the benefit of understanding formats and content in the media industry through composition and framing. For me, this is the basis of storytelling. I have since worked for many television and entertainment broadcast companies, as a shooting producer director, including the BBC, MTV UK and MTV Australia (Sydney), Endemol UK, Fremantle Media / Talkback Thames, Sky Arts and VICE. I’ve also worked on a variety of digital and branded content for well known brands such as Nintendo, Sega, Bethesda, BBC Three, Sony Music and VEVO.
Four years ago, I realised my dream of working in narrative drama by being employed on the popular television drama ‘Midsomer Murders’ as a camera trainee and I haven’t looked back. I subsequently worked as a kitroom technician for 2 years at S+O Media (camera, lighting & grip kit hire facility in West London, U.K.) and I’ve developed into a strong camera operator, 1st AC (Focus puller) and a CAA licensed drone operator.
This year, I start my masters in Cinematography at Goldsmiths College in South East London and I hope this will help me further develop my camera and lighting skills; and extend my career into achieving my life-long dream of becoming a lighting director of photography in short film, feature film and music video content.
